Marshall’s Michael Washington placed second overall with his Brahman heifer, and Katelynn Richardson finished fifth overall with her Brahman heifer.

Jadden McMahon was 13th with his Brahman heifer, and Jackie Malinosky finished 13th with her Lim-Flex heifer.

“Major livestock shows are a way to test students’ knowledge on their cattle, their showmanship skills, and see how their animal measures up against competition from around the state,” said Jessica Shadix, Marshall High School Agriscience teacher and FFA sponsor. “We congratulate these students on their accomplishments.”

Marshall students will now prepare their animals to show at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Farm City Week in March.
